Terms and Conditions

My signature declares that I have read, understand, and agree with the following Terms and Conditions for the Certified Mother-Daughter Coach Training Course. This agreement is between Rosjke Hasseldine and Mother-Daughter Coaching International LLC (MDCI) and its Faculty, and the applicant for the Certified Mother-Daughter Coach Training Course.

The following Terms and Conditions are agreed as follows:

1. By enrolling onto this Training, you are confirming that you are a trained mental health professional or coach. Students in their final year of training are welcome to enroll in this Training. If anyone accidentally enrolls onto the Training without the necessary mental health or coaching training, your course fee will be refunded minus the Stripe and MDCI admin fees.

2. Placement in the Training is non-transferable and non-refundable. A refunded will not be given if a student withdraws or does not complete the course.

3. Rosjke Hasseldine and MDCI reserve the right to discontinue or to make changes to the Training. No refund will be given if the Training is discontinued. 

4. Certification is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the lessons and assignments. The cost for resubmitting an incomplete final assignment is $200 USD. If a student wishes to appeal the decision that they resubmit their final assignment to pass the Training, they must do so within a month of receiving their written feedback. In the event of an appeal, an independent panel will examine the case and decide within four weeks of receiving the appeal. The panel’s decision is final.

5. The Training Course fee is to be paid in full before the start of the Training.

6. All intellectual property rights in and associated with the Training and the Mother-Daughter Attachment® Model are owned by Rosjke Hasseldine. Rosjke Hasseldine asserts her right under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 to be identified as the author of the training course and Mother-Daughter Attachment® Model. All rights are reserved. No part of the Training may be reproduced, adapted, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying.

7. Mother-Daughter Attachment® and the Certified Mother-Daughter Coach Logo are registered Trademark owned by MDCI. The trademarks Certified Mother-Daughter Coach, Mother-Daughter Attachment® Model, Mother-Daughter Coaching Model, Mother-Daughter History Mapping, Women’s Power Circles, Mother-Daughter Puzzle, and all associated logos are intellectual property owned by Rosjke Hasseldine.

8. Rosjke Hasseldine is the only person licensed to teach the Certified Mother-Daughter Coach Training Course and Certify Mother-Daughter Coaches.

9. The Training certifies graduates to provide individual and couples therapy/coaching services to mothers and daughters.

10. On satisfactory completion of all course requirements, graduates of the Training who opt to become Certified as a Mother-Daughter Coach will be granted the limited annual right to use the phrase “Certified Mother-Daughter Coach,” as well as the associated logo for their promotional materials and website.

11. The Certified Mother-Daughter Coach logo remains the property of Rosjke Hasseldine and may not be altered in any way. It must be represented no smaller than 2 inches diagonal.

12. On completion of the Training, graduates receive a 60-hour CPD certificate from MDCI.

13. Students agree to keep their fellow students’ personal and clinical information confidential.

14. Students are responsible to make sure that they have the correct time zone difference if they live outside of the EST time zone. 

15. The Training Course is taught through a learning platform and online in-person lessons and tutorials. Students have access to the learning platform for 12 months from the day they enroll in the Training. 

16. Students agree to attend every lesson and tutorial and to not record lessons and tutorials.

17. If personal issues arise during the training course, students are expected to find a therapist or the appropriate support they need.

18. Students and Certified Mother-Daughter Coaches agree to provide their mother-daughter therapy/coaching services within the best-practice guidelines set out in the Training and to abide by the MDCI Code of Ethics outlined in the syllabus.

19. Students and Certified Mother-Daughter Coaches agree to keep their professional association membership, license or accreditation, and professional liability insurance current.

20. Students and Certified Mother-Daughter Coaches agree to attend regular supervision or mentoring that understands the Mother-Daughter Attachment Model, and supports their work with mothers and daughters.

21. Students and Certified Mother-Daughter Coaches are solely responsible for their mother-daughter therapy/coaching work. Neither Rosjke Hasseldine nor MDCI, including its Faculty shall be liable in contract, tort or otherwise (including negligence) arising from or in connection with the Training or the Mother-Daughter Attachment® Model. Students and Certified Mother-Daughter Coaches agree to indemnify Rosjke Hasseldine and MDCI and its Faculty on a continuing basis for any claims against Rosjke Hasseldine or MDCI or the Teaching Faculty arising from the student’s or Certified Mother-Daughter Coach’s actions.

22. Rosjke Hasseldine and MDCI reserves the right to withdraw the certification status of a Certified Mother-Daughter Coach who fails to follow these terms and conditions, is not following the best-practice guidelines set out in the Training, breaches the MDCI Code of Ethics, and/or is no longer in good professional standing. In the event a Mother-Daughter Coach Certification is withdrawn, the permission and limited right of the graduate to use the phrase “Certified Mother-Daughter Coach”, including any associated logos, will also be withdrawn.
